Creating your own home gym doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg—or even half of one. Check out this list of seven amazingly cheap pieces of equipment (for less than $50!) to create your own home gym!

The Pull up Bar

A pull up bar is one of the most affordable pieces of equipment you can buy, and it has so many benefits. It's great for your back and arms, and it is easy to install. Plus, you don't need any special equipment because all you need is the bar! Amazon sells a variety of pull up bars at different prices; some even come with other attachments like dip bars or weight holders. If you're looking for a new way to get in shape, I would highly recommend buying a pull up bar!

The Pushup Stand

Push up stands are not just for pushups. They can also be used for push-up crawls and other exercises that require you to get up off the ground. If you're thinking about building your own home gym, one of the cheapest ways to do it is by getting a set of dumbbells and then getting some gym mat or foam flooring from Amazon. You'll have everything you need for an effective workout in your own space.

Dumbbell Set

Dumbbell Set - A set of dumbbells can be had for anywhere from $20-200, depending on the weight and quality. This can range from 10 lbs. all the way up to 100 lbs., with most people buying a set that is about 15-25 lbs. You don't need an expensive set for this, so don't worry about it! I have some old ones that were my grandfather's from his gym days that are perfect for me.

 Exercise Mat -

A mat will usually run you anywhere from $10-$100, but again - you don't need anything too fancy here!

Stability Ball

For some, going out for a run or hit the gym just doesn't fit into their busy lives. Luckily, creating your own home gym can be done cheaply and easily with an exercise ball (aka yoga ball or swiss ball). You can use it to do exercises such as squats, sit-ups, push-ups and crunches. So get your workout on while staying in the comfort of your home with these seven amazingly cheap pieces of equipment that will have you ready for anything.

Resistance Band Set

Gym balls are great for stretching and developing core strength. The fit simplify resistance loop exercise bands are perfect for light strengthening exercises. For those looking to do some serious work on the weights, I recommend the push up stand steel, which makes it easy to get into a great push up position without having to kneel on the floor. Dumbbells make it easier than ever before to create an at-home workout plan that is customized just for you. There are also plenty of products available on Amazon such as the amazon fitness gadgets, as well as cool gadgets like an amazon fitness watch with pedometer - so that you can be sure you're getting your heart rate in the right zone!

Exercise Mat

. Now that you know what equipment is needed for your home gym, let’s go over how much it will cost. You can get an exercise mat for only in $25 on Amazon, or you could go the cheaper route and just use some old towels or carpet. A push up stand can be bought for about $20 at any sporting goods store or Walmart. If you want to buy it on Amazon, there are tons of different models available! Dumbbells for sale range from $5-150 depending on what type you get.

Medicine Ball

A medicine ball is one of the most functional pieces of equipment for your home gym. You can do countless exercises with it, and it's really inexpensive. Foam Roller

A foam roller is an excellent addition to your home gym and will help you loosen up tight muscles. It's also great for helping you recover from a workout. The foam roller is an inexpensive way to help you get the most out of your workouts and maintain good muscle health. Foam rollers are available on Amazon for less than $20, so it won't break the bank to add one to your collection of home gym equipment!

Exercise Bike, Stationary Indoor Cycling Bike for Home Gym

An exercise bike is an excellent piece of equipment for home gym. It provides cardio, while also strengthening your lower body and core. It has multiple uses, so it's great if you're limited on space or have several people using the same machine at different times. Stationary indoor cycling bikes are another option to consider when shopping for fitness equipment. They are compact and generally easier on the joints than other types of bikes because they don't move back and forth like those that are attached to a frame. For an affordable workout, find an adjustable dumbbell set online--they're often much cheaper than any set you'll find in stores. Amazon has some awesome deals for these items and offers free shipping with most orders over $25!
